D2C Media Inc. (“D2C Media”) and Strathcom Media Inc. (“Strathcom”) jointly announced today their planned business combination to offer leading digital solutions to automotive dealers and OEM’s across Canada. Strathcom will continue to operate independently but the 2 companies will leverage their common assets, resources and technologies to offer best-in-class services and broaden their offerings to their respective customers. D2C Media and Go Auto have also entered into a partnership whereby D2C Media will exclusively provide leading digital solutions to Go Auto in the coming years.
This is the most strategic acquisition by D2C Media to date, allowing us to gain significant market share across Canada, with the combined group now serving close to 900 dealers. Through Strathcom, D2C Media will also gain access to multiple OEM and Automotive group relationships, and, even more importantly, add 35 local digital experts to our team in Western Canada so we can better serve our 200+ local customers.
Together, D2C Media and Strathcom will employ close to 100 professionals dedicated to the automotive industry and spread locally across all 10 Canadian provinces.
